Harrisville Designs is a small family owned and operated business that believes quality should not be compromised for even the smallest product. Harrisville Designs was started in 1971 as an effort to preserve and help re-establish the economic vitality of the historic 18th century textile village of Harrisville, New Hampshire. In the late 1980's, they developed the first Friendly Loom Products to introduce children to the joys of working with their hands. Since then Harrisville Designs hasn't changed much; they still use 100% natural hand-dyed wool from local & family-owned businesses.
